I’ve been around golf for a long time, so I’ve seen and felt it all. The awkwardness of showing up to a course, the nervousness on the first tee, the pressure to perform.
That’s why I’m here...to make golf feel less intimidating and more accessible, welcoming, and empowering, especially for women who want to try the game but feel unsure about where they fit.
For too long, golf has felt intimidating, confusing, or reserved for people who already “know what they’re doing.” My mission is to change that experience by teaching golf in a way that prioritizes understanding, comfort, and confidence, not pressure or perfection.
I believe confidence doesn’t come from pretending you know the rules. It comes from being taught what’s expected, feeling supported while you learn, and having the space to grow at your own pace. Through private lessons, women-focused clinics, and community-driven events, I help women feel comfortable showing up, learning, and actually enjoying the game.
Golf doesn’t need to feel exclusive to be respected. It just needs to be taught differently.
Golf has been part of my life for over a decade, but my path into the game wasn’t the typical one.
I didn’t grow up as the prodigy kid who had everything figured out early. I started later (in my early twenties) and learned on the go, spending a lot of time trying to catch up. Despite that, I earned a golf scholarship in the U.S. and went on to play competitively, eventually competing at a high level.
From the outside, it looked like success. But internally, I was focused almost entirely on the technical side of the game. All I worried about was mechanics, performance, and outcomes. I believed that if I just worked harder or perfected my swing, everything else would fall into place.
But it didn’t…
What I didn’t understand yet was how much mindset, nervous system regulation, and emotional safety matter in learning and performance. I didn’t know how to manage nerves in a healthy way, I didn’t know how to trust my body fully, and most importantly, I also know what it’s like to set expectations sky-high without fully understanding what’s actually required.
I didn’t make it “big” in golf the way I once imagined, with the LPGA Tour as the end goal. For years, I carried that as a personal failure.
Now, I see it as the most important part of my journey.
Because golf gave me far more than results. It taught me patience, presence, resilience, and the power of community. It showed me how transformational it can be when someone feels supported while learning something hard.
That perspective is now what shapes how I teach today.
I’ve been the beginner, I’ve been the student, I’ve been the competitor, and now, I’m the mentor (your mentor). I understand what it feels like to be new, unsure, and trying to figure out where you belong. I also understand what it takes to move through that phase with confidence, not by pushing harder, but by learning in a way that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable.
Everything I create now, from private lessons to clinics, events, and community spaces, is informed by what I wish I had known earlier in my own golf journey.
Because golf isn’t just a sport. It’s a place where women can learn to trust themselves, understand their bodies, manage nerves, and show up even when they feel unsure. That’s the experience I want more women to have, and the one I’m committed to creating.
This is a space where it’s okay to be new, ask questions, and take your time. I care about how you feel, not just how you swing.
real talk only
Clear coaching. No pretending. No fluff.
I’ll always be honest with you, meet you where you’re at, and coach with your best interest at heart.
golf girls stick together
We learn better together.
We cheer each other on.
We remind each other we belong…on the range, on the course, and everywhere in between.
Because golf is more fun when you’re not doing it alone.
You don’t have to earn your spot here. You don’t have to prove anything. You’re welcome exactly as you are, today.
come as you are
you're safe here
Confidence doesn’t come from pressure.
It comes from feeling supported. This is a space where questions are encouraged, nerves are normal, and being new is more than okay.
"I just wrapped up a ladies group series with Ashlee and loved the experience. She is patient, kind, and gives advice that really makes a difference. Her recap emails after each lesson were so helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone learning golf or wanting to improve. Ashlee helped me feel more confident, and it was such a great group of ladies to learn with. I'm already looking forward to more lessons with her in the spring."
"This clinic was fantastic! I went in with now clue how to properly swing a golf club and came out playing three holes — and feeling great about it! Ashlee is an incredible instructor, and the group of ladies made the experience even mor enjoyable! I'm looking forward to the next one!
"What you do, Ashlee, for women's golf... especially getting "new" golfers interested is amazing and you should be commended for it!!! It's not just your outstanding teaching skills, but your personality is amazing. I'm proud to call you my friend and golf coach. You are not just for the women!
…and I’m here to meet you where you’re at, teaching the game in a way that feels welcoming, supportive, and fun.
